Sydney-based Cablenet Technologies Group recently launched CheckProtect, a new service that provides disaster recovery, data protection and system migration in a single package.
“CheckProtect not only backs up, stores and manages your data at an offsite location — an important safeguard— it recovers your data almost instantly,” says Chris Ajaka, the group’s Director.
The difference between CheckProtect and other services, Ajaka emphasizes, is that the the former backs up the entire hard drive and not just data alone. “In the event of a system failure, we rebuild a new server that is a mirror of the hard drive. This means that everything on the customer’s server system — including the operating system, applications and data — can be restored instantly.”
